Robert James Figg (AKA Robert Realm), is Founder and the sole owner/operator of RealmVision and it's productions. As manager of day to day operations, Bob's responsibilities include, maintaining the RealmVision web site and blog, video/web productions and spokesperson for RealmVision, Realm Communications Network (RCN), Defense Art TV, and The Street Smart System of Self Defense, a non-profit organization, who's mission is to educate young and old in the personal development of self defense and health.

Robert James Figg was born in Chicago Illinois, 1950. Sifu Bob is the decendent of the world's first bare-knuckle boxing champion from England, James Figg (1684 - 1734).

Bob is the second eldist son in a family of five children. His father taught him boxing at age 4. At 14, he started surfing, a sport that has been one of his greatest influences. Best friend, Hank Monzello, came from a circus family and introduced Bob to Martial Arts. In collage, he excelled as a Springboard Diving and All-around Gymnastics competitor, and eventually taught both sports.

Figg served in Viet Nam as a communications operator and faced combat a few times. It was there when told of his father's passing.

After returning home, Figg taught diving and trampoline.

Kenpo Master Doug McLeod encouraged Figg to teach once he received his Yellow Belt and learned the fourth style of Kenpo. "Teaching is a natural progression in the learning process. Eventually, you evolve as you share the knowledge you gain and master.

The "Tao of Paradise" will expand your knowledge of, Health, Safety, and Personal Growth, through the Martial Arts.
