Dr. Michael Savona is a second degree black belt in the Yen Ching Tao system and student of Grand Master Douglas G. McLeod, certified by the 4 Star Medical School Board in Internal Medicine, Assistant Professor in Cancer research at the Cancer Center in Honolulu, Hawaii and recipient of the “Doctor of the Year” 2002 award on the island of Maui, Hawaii.

His seminar, Striking Vital Zones was part of the 2003 Aloha Gathering, filmed in Maui, HI. The Aloha Gathering was sponsored by the Street Smart System of Self-Defense and Grandmaster Douglas G. McLeod. The video was produced by Sifu Robert Realm.
